A letter to our son.
To our dearest Enzo,
Nothing could have prepared us for the moment we found out you were to become an Angel. It is unbelievable the impact you’ve had on this earth without even taking a single breath. You’ve touched so many hearts and reminded us to cherish and care for the people who mean the most to us in our lives. You’ve reminded us to never take for granted each and every day. You have opened our eyes to the vast amount of amazing and beyond caring people that surround us. It has left us breathless in the best kind of way. It is because of them that we were able to grieve, and have moments of light in the hardest of times. We are forever grateful and blessed.
I never knew how much I could truly love someone until I held you in my arms. We think about you each and every day and know you are watching down upon us and us looking back at you. Even though it feels at times that my heart was ripped in two.. I would do it all again to relive the night I was able to hold you in my arms.
Of all the things my hands have held… the best by far was you.

Enzo’s story has touched my heart and brought back some painful memories. I am so happy you shared this with us. Yes, he is a perfect beautiful baby that chose to be your angel for the rest of your lives. He has God’s ear. Send Enzo your prayer and dreams and he will be sure to deliver them to God. ‘Enzo. A year ago our hearts were forever changed. Nothing can prepare us for a loss so great as Enzo’s, and we continue to grieve and remember him each and every day.
