Hannah Schultz is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern who is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe, heard, and supported, especially during some of life’s hardest moments. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Union College and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. Through her clinical training, Hannah has gained experience supporting clients through grief, trauma, life transitions, and pregnancy-related concerns.
Hannah’s approach is warm, genuine, and compassionate. She believes there is no “right” way to grieve and that everyone’s experience with loss is deeply personal. Rather than trying to fix or rush the grieving process, she values simply being present, listening, and allowing people to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. As a Star Legacy group facilitator, Hannah hopes to create a space where participants can come exactly as they are. She understands that pregnancy and infant loss can bring a mix of emotions that can be difficult to put into words, and she believes there is something meaningful about being able to sit alongside others who understand. Her hope is that this group feels like a place where you do not have to explain everything, hide the hard days, or navigate your grief alone.
