When we found out that we were pregnant with our thirteenth child it was already too late.
We had suffered a missed miscarriage at 16 weeks into the pregnancy with our much wanted and longed for baby daughter.
I had gone to the doctors as my period had gone hay wire and I thought that my periods were just paying up as usual as I have poly cystic ovary syndrome and they can skip and be every three months.
So I didn’t think it was strange at first by the time I had missed my period. By 16 weeks I was getting concerned as I was starting to bleed quite heavily. The doctor examined me and said it was a missed miscarriage and to let nature take its course.
I had no idea that I was pregnant otherwise I would have been on my blood thinning medications. Just as I was made aware, my baby girl was gone. It was upsetting to think that my baby had clung onto life for 16 weeks but my body had failed her. Again there was nothing I could do as I wasn’t aware that I was pregnant.
I just hope that our baby who we guessed was a girl so decided to name her Lily – Mai Emelia Rose Livingston and who was due in early 2014, knew how much she was wanted and loved and missed. One day we will hopefully be reunited with our beloved daughter in Spirit.
Lily – Mai would be 12 years old this year

Thank you so much for honouring our angel.

Jo and Rob Livingston
