Kristin Sharp mdIn this episode, Lindsey Wimmer visits with Dr. Kristin Sharp from Madison Wisconsin. In 2017 Dr. Sharp attended the Stillbirth Summit in Minneapolis and heard Dr. Alexander Heazell of the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom talk about the Rainbow Clinic he created to care for perinatal loss mothers in a subsequent pregnancy. As a loss mother herself, Dr. Sharp knew she needed to go home and recreate the model in her clinic. Today the clinic continues specialty care for rainbow pregnancies.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Sharp is Clinical Associate Professor and Assistant Clinical Director of the Resident Continuity Clinic . Dr. Sharp received her undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis, MO and medical school at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL. Her OB/GYN residency was completed at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and certified in Neonatal Resuscitation by the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association.
