James Thomas Galanti-Smith was born February 23rd, 2010 to his parents Justin Smith and Brittany Galanti at 5:05 AM at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital. He weighed 3lbs 5 oz and was 15.5 inches long.
James passed away shortly before birth but his parents were blessed with 31 weeks and 4 days with him. James was a very active baby, his parents loved feeling every movement he gave them.
Besides his parents, James leaves behind his Grandparents Joseph and Cathy Galanti (Willis), Carl and Byerc Smith (Ypsilanti), great grandparents Joseph and Patricia Galanti (Willis), Fred and Velma Green (Maybee), Tom and Louise Smith (Ypsilanti) Aunts and uncles, Andrea (Kelly) Kalusha, Joseph Galanti, Joseph Smith, Joshua Smith, Catherine Galanti, and William Galanti, many great aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
He is proceeded in death by his great grandparents Daniel and Sheryl Cox, cousin Ralph Fleenor (kicker), great Uncle Lloyd “Tom” Smith, and baby Green.
