In this episode of Stillbirth Matters, Chris Duffy visits with Yasuko Yamamura, MD about Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (IHCP). Dr. Yamamura is Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health at the University of Minnesota . She received her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in 2001. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Mayo Clinic as well as a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Yamamura is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has a subspecialty certification in maternal-fetal medicine. She has been recognized for her work by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine as “Top Doctor” 2016-2018, Minnesota Monthly Magazine as “Best Doctors for Women in 2013 and 2014 and Minnesota Monthly Magazine as “Top Doctors” for 2016-2018.
