Chase Bradley Verdino

July 3, 2025

On the morning of July 3rd, 2025 at 23 weeks pregnant, we heard the words that no parent ever should—our baby’s heart had stopped. We were heartbroken and confused.

That evening at 7:49 pm, after a peaceful, natural labor, our son Chase Bradley was born silently into this world as the sun set. The sky glowed with color, and in that sacred moment, we felt the presence of both Chase and God. He was beautiful, with features like his big sister, Stella. We held him, studied him, and said hello and goodbye all at once.

Chase is deeply loved by his big brother Leo and sister Stella. Coming home without him has been one of the hardest parts, but we’ve been surrounded by support. I chose to pump and donate milk in his honor—a small way to continue mothering him. Though his time with us was far too short, Chase’s life mattered. My pregnancy mattered.

We will always speak his name, share his story, and carry him in our hearts. Chase Bradley Verdino—our son, our angel, our forever baby.
