Charlotte was born 6 weeks early on March 3rd 2025. We were so happy as she was our second child and the girl we had hoped for. We have a 4.5 year old son who was so proud to be a big brother. Charlotte spent 3 weeks in the NICU getting stronger when she was able to come home. She spent only 2.5 short weeks with us at home when I noticed she began getting lethargic and wasn’t eating. I took her into the ER where she ended up being diagnosed with Group B Strep. She suffered serious brain damage due to her brain being without oxygen for sometime. We made the heartbreaking decision to stop all life supporting measures. Charlotte died on her due date 4/13/2025. We love and miss her dearly.
