Steve Libsack is the Board Secretary and joined the Star Legacy Foundation Board in 2020. Steve retired after a 38 year career as sugarbeet seed industry executive and continues as the Founder/CEO of EnerGynetics, LLC, a private consulting company in the renewable energy production from agricultrual crops sector. Steve also continues to manage the farms in western Nebraska that he grew up on, homesteaded by his grandfather. He attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado and experienced the anguish of watching his daughter and son-in-law endure the stillbirth of her first son and his first grandchild. He has been passionately involved in the work of the Foundation since that time. Steve and his wife Shauna live in Burnsville, MN.
