MATERNAL HEALTH AND SLEEP DURING COVID-19

The Star Legacy Foundation and Michigan Medicine, together with international collaborators, are conducting an anonymous online survey to learn how the Covid-19 pandemic is impacting pregnant/postpartum women as well as families who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal or fetal death.

Who Can Participate?

There are two versions of the survey – both accessible by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of this screen:

1.  For women at least 18 years old who are currently pregnancy or have given birth in 2020 and 2021

2.  For women at least 18 years old who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal or infant death at any time

Women anywhere in the world can take part!

What will happen?

The anonymous online survey will take about 20-25 minutes to complete. The questions will ask about your experiences, behaviors and concerns during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as things like access to healthcare, support networks, your sleep, and your general health and wellbeing. While taking part may not directly benefit you, the information provided will allow us to identify opportunities to better serve women during challenging times.

No identifying information is collected and taking part is completely voluntary. You may skip questions that you prefer not to answer and you can end your participation at any time.

For women who have had a pregnancy/infant loss or a difficult pregnancy, it is also possible that completing the survey may be upsetting.  We have provided a variety of international resources at the end of the survey if you would like to talk with a professional counselor.

Thank you for contributing to science, public health, and medical research. Working together, we can make discoveries that will positively affect health care and support for mothers and babies.
