Laura Richert, RN became involved with Star Legacy Foundation in 2013 as a member of the Board of Directors and came on staff as Chapter Development coordinator in January of 2019. She is a registered nurse and the mother of 4 babies in Heaven – Braylyn, Evylyn, Mason, and Averylyn . She is a trained Peer Companion for bereaved families and perinatal loss provider and coordinator. Laura summarizes her passion for Star Legacy by saying, “the idea of working with a group that is taking steps to prevent stillbirth makes my heart sing! I believe that prevention is key and I would love to be part of the movement that finds the cause and also the prevention of stillbirths!”
Laura is the Chapter Development Coordinator for Star Legacy Foundation and responsible for working with newly developing and established chapters. She holds an Associate’s Degree in nursing from Century College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from St. Catherine University, and is currently pursuing Master’s Degrees in Business Management and Business Ethics at St. Catherine University. In addition to their 4 angel babies, Laura and her husband, Brandon, are parents to 4 children here on earth: Kaylyn, Madylyn, Jackylyn, and Audrylyn.
