Andrea Lang is the Immediate Past Board Chair of Star Legacy Foundation. She joined the Board in 2018 and lives with her husband Gus in Madison, WI. Andrea came to understand the impact of stillbirth on an entire family when her sister’s son was stillborn in October of 2009. “I felt helpless watching my sister and her husband when they lost Jackson. This is a way to celebrate his life and help prevent just one more family from experiencing the loss our family did. The Foundation is doing amazing work and I am interested in contributing to that work.” Andrea received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with minors in Communication and Political Science from the University of Nebraska. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate with Distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Andrea is admitted to the bar in Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin. She is employed as Associate General Counsel, VP Innovation for CUNA Mutual Group in Madison, WI . Andrea and her husband Gus enjoy the outdoor community through activities such as running marathons, biking, hiking, motorcycling, and kayaking. Their dog—a Redbone Coonhound—also likes to join in on most of the outdoor fun.
